Poets in the Park – Tucson
Celebrate Tucson’s vibrant poetry community at Poets in the Park, a free outdoor gathering bringing poets, performers, organizers, and poetry lovers together at Armory Park in downtown Tucson.
Taking place Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Poets in the Park will showcase 21 local poets, including writers who help organize and sustain poetry events throughout the Tucson community.
The afternoon will feature poetry performances alongside live music, food, and interactive poetry workshops, creating an accessible community celebration for longtime poetry fans, working writers, and anyone interested in discovering Tucson’s literary scene.
Poets in the Park also serves as the official kickoff for ¡Somos Uno! Poetry & Storytelling, a community-focused series organized through Tucson Poet Laureate Logan Phillips’ Poet Laureate Fellowship with the Academy of American Poets.
